Lord’s Supper Team
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To assist in the preparing the elements for observing the ordinance of baptism
Ministry Team Composition Requirements:
- Church Membership: Yes (Chairman), No (Team Members)
- Chairman: Selected by Nominating Committee and elected by church body
- Length of service: 3 year term
- Main Staff Contact: Director of Music
General Responsibilities:
- Care and maintenance of Communion wares
- Set up and preparation of the Lord's Supper on Saturday prior to first Sunday of the month; replenishing of bread and cup prior to all services
- Clean up of Communion ware and removal of cups from sanctuary
- Make annual budget recommendations to the Finance Committee and manage expenses against approved budget
