Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To help create an inviting environment for members and guests for worship, connection, and ministry through interior and exterior decorations and improvements.
The First Impressions Team serves by creating a warm, visually inviting environment that reflects the heart of our church and welcomes all who enter. Through the thoughtful use of interior accents and seasonal décor, this ministry helps set the tone for worship, discipleship, and fellowship.
Team members minister by arranging and maintaining décor throughout the year, especially during seasons like Easter and Christmas. Their efforts ensure that every corner of the church communicates care, excellence, and the glory of God. The team collaborates with the Properties Committee by reporting aesthetic issues that need attention. The team also collaborates with our pastors when they identify ways to improve the experience of first-time guests on our property.
Led by a chairman and supported by the Associate Pastor for Outreach and Administration, this team is a great place for anyone with a creative eye, love of design, or passion for hospitality. Whether you're decorating the sanctuary or freshening up a hallway, your service helps make the church a place where members and guests alike feel welcome and at home.
