Our English Club ministry is excited to see growth, as more students continue to join our beginning and early English group. More helpers are needed to assist with these additional attendees!
English Club meets weekly with internationals who hope to learn and improve their English conversation skills. It is a great opportunity for them to meet believers in Jesus, learn Amercian culture, practice English conversation, and learn English through Bible stories. Our volunteers enjoy the additional opportunity to build relationships, meet needs, and share the Gospel.
Two groups gather on Monday nights @ 6:30 PM. Our in-person group for beginning and early English speakers meets each week at Ridge Baptist Church (1515 Eastridge Rd. Henrico, VA 23229). Our Advanced English class has continued to meet digitally via Zoom.
English Club volunteers are asked to attend faithfully, interact warmly to build relationships, and engage in simple conversations and explanations as directed. You can be a valuable part of this ministry! You can "check it out" just by attending one or two weeks to see what happens and meet some of the leaders and students.
