SMRBC Holiday Schedule

Events and Schedule Changes for the Season

Thanksgiving

Wednesday, November 26th: No evening activites on Wednesday, November 26th (including Life Groups, Prayer Meeting, Choir, and Children's and Student activities). Business Meeting and Wednesday Night Dinner are rescheduled for December 3rd.

Christmas

Sunday, December 21st: Behold Emmanuel: A Morning of Worship. Special Christmas Choral Worship Sunday. Our choir will lead worship in the 9:30 & 11 AM services, followed by a message from Pastor Jim. The 8 AM worship service will still be held as usual. Life Groups, Children's, and Student activities will proceed as usual that morning.

There will be no Student Grow groups that Sunday evening.

Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24th: Christmas Eve Services @ 3:30 PM and 5 PM. Choose the time that works best for your family! Childcare will only be available for the 3:30 PM service for 2-year-olds and younger (advance notice is appreciated, and can be sent to Pastor Dustin at dmcelduff@smrbc.org). The 5 PM service will also be streamed at smrbc.org/live.

There will be no other Wednesday evening activities that evening.

Sunday, December 28th: All services, Life Groups, and ministry activities will proceed as usual on that morning. There will be no Student Grow Groups that evening.

New Years

Wednesday, December 31st, New Year's Eve: No Church Activities No childcare, Adult choir, Children's choir, Children's Ministry Foundations groups, Student Large Group, Prayer Meeting, or Life Groups.

Sunday, January 4th: Normal Sunday morning and evening activities.

SMRBC Office Closures

The SMRBC Office will be closed for the following dates:

  • Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th. 
  • Christmas: Wednesday, December 24th through Friday, December 26th
  • New Years: Thursday, January 1st

Messages can be left and will be periodically checked on the church's main phone mailbox. You can also reach the staff by email at email@smrbc.org, which will be monitored daily for urgent messages.

2025 Year-End Giving Deadlines

All Contributions for the 2025 tax-year need to be received by December 31st.

Physical contributions must be received by 10 AM that morning, whether given in the offering boxes on the Sunday before, received in the mail, dropped in our mailbox, or brought to the church office. Online Contributions can be submitted online any time before midnight on December 31st.

Contributions received after these times will be posted to your 2026 giving statement.
