Seeking Women Volunteers for English Club!

Looking for a rewarding way to connect, build relationships, and make a lasting impact? Our In-Person English Club needs more women volunteers!

English Club meets weekly to help internationals learn and improve their English conversation skills. It’s a wonderful opportunity for them to meet believers in Jesus, learn about American culture, practice conversation, and learn English through Bible stories. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to build meaningful friendships, meet needs, and share the Gospel.

When & Where: We gather on Monday nights @ 6:30 PM in at Ridge Baptist Church (1515 Eastridge Rd. Henrico, VA 23229) for beginning and early English speakers.

What is expected of volunteers? We ask our volunteers to attend faithfully, interact warmly to build relationships, and engage in simple conversations and explanations as directed. No teaching experience is required—just a welcoming heart!

Want to "check it out"? You are welcome to attend for one or two weeks to see what it's like and meet our leaders and students before committing.
