Women’s Ministry Team
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To help women encounter God, encourage each other, become equipped, and engage a world that needs Jesus
Basic Objectives:
- Encounter - help women encounter God through special worship opportunities
- Encourage - provide opportunities for women to make real connections with one another that result in loving God and loving others more
- Equip - equip women to fulfill their varied roles in life through mentoring and discipleship
- Engage - we will lead women to share the love of Jesus with others both here and beyond
- Make annual budget recommendations to the Finance Committee and manage expenses against approved budget
Ministry Team Composition Requirements:
- Church Membership: Yes
- Director: Selected by Nominating Committee and elected by church body
- Length of service: 3 year term
- Main Staff Contact: Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Administration
