Music Ministry Team
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To work together with Director of Music to support and oversee the Music Ministry Program. These programs will include Praise and Worship Choir, Praise Team and Praise Band, Ensemble groups, and Children’s Choir.
Basic Objectives: To assist in planning yearly budgets, promoting and evaluating the Music Ministry and its programs
Ministry Team Composition Requirements:
- Church Membership: Yes
- Chairman: Selected by Nominating Committee and elected by church body
- Length of service: 3 year term
- Main Staff Contact: Director of Music
General Responsibilities:
- Actively involved with the music programs
- Meet as needed to handle budget issues and ministry issues
- Recommend new equipment purchases to the church
Measurements of Effectiveness:
- Music Ministry participants feel welcome
- Ministry participants feel prepared and equipped for successful ministry
- A Music Ministry that enhances the worship experience
