Men’s Ministry
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To equip Christian men to serve our Master, Jesus Christ, in prayer, praise and service through our church
Basic Objectives / The Men’s Ministry Vision: To see all men growing stronger in Christ and actively involved in the work of our Lord Jesus Christ
Ministry Team Composition Requirements:
- Church Membership: Yes
- Chairman: Selected by Nominating Committee and elected by church body
- Length of service: 3 year term
- Main Staff Contact: Associate Pastor for Discipleship & Administration
General Responsibilities:
- To provide programs wherein men may serve, pray, fellowship, train and study for Kingdom Work through SMRBC
- To provide opportunities to assimilate new and inactive men into discipleship and active service
- Make annual budget recommendations to the Finance Committee and manage expenses against approved budget
Measurements of Effectiveness:
- Annual review of the Men’s Ministry’s programs
