Family Life Group

Family Life Group is hosted by the SMRBC Children’s Ministry. This is NOT a drop-off child event. Parents or guardians will be asked to participate in learning activities. If preschool age children attend with families, the expectation is that they will remain seated and not be disruptive during the 1 hour gathering. The Bible lesson and activities will be taught on elementary school age developmental levels.

Reservations are required for families to attend and must be made by Thursday evening, March 11th. Family Life Group will take place in MP-1. Families will be socially distanced at tables and masks will be required.

The Gospel Project curriculum will be used in Family Life Group. The meeting will consist of the following 7 elements.

1. Early Arrival Activities
2. Review Bible Truth – Previous lessons from The Gospel Project @ Home will be summarized and a review game will be played.
3. Hear Bible Truth – The scheduled Gospel Project lesson will be shared with families.
4. Experience Bible Truth – A time for families to apply the Bible lesson.
5. Missions Moment - A missions awareness opportunity for families.
6. Learn the Truth - Memory verse or other activity.
7. Pray Truth - Close with family prayer
