Rooted in Truth... Reaching in Love

Reaching in Love – Investing in Love

Your giving to the Reaching in Love campaign is an eternal investment. It will greatly expand the base and reach of SMRBC. Your giving to the Reaching in Love campaign is a statement of love for the people of Central Virginia. It demonstrates a conviction that this area needs the many ministries of this vibrant, joyful, Christ-centered church. Your giving to the Reaching in Love campaign enables this strategic church to grow stronger and larger for the glory of God, and further positions us to reach future generations for Christ.

As a church we continue to sense God desires to use us much more in these days and in the years to come. Acting on this conviction, we have been planning and giving to make more space available to reach, disciple, and launch increasing numbers of our neighbors. As a church we are beyond eager to break ground so that we can complete and utilize this space as soon as possible. However, it is clear that the Lord would have us grow our building funds first, in order to minimize the amount we borrow and the size of our future payments. While it is not fun to wait, we are faithfully waiting on the Lord. Of course, our waiting is not passive! We are actively praying, giving, and expecting God to move boldly. It is a thrill to be on this adventure with Him! We already have over $1 million on hand toward the needed $3.6 million.

The way forward for us will be through faith, faithful service, and faithful giving. Please pull aside with God to take a fresh, prayerful look at two dimensions Picture2of your giving.

  1. Is He asking you to invest more boldly through regular thes and offerings to enable the church to expand more rapidly?
  2. Is He asking you to invest more boldly through the Reaching in Love campaign?

Seeing the urgent need for this space and desiring to invest in God’s eternal kingdom in Central Virginia, please pray and make a bold new commitment to Reaching in Love.
