The Women's Ministry of SMRBC seeks to help women encounter God, encourage each other, become equipped, and engage a world that needs Jesus.

Encounter- We will help women encounter God through special worship opportunities.
Encourage- We will provide opportunities for women to make real connections with one another that result in loving God and loving others more.
Equip- We will equip women to fulfill their varied roles in life through mentoring and discipleship.
Engage- We will lead women to share the love of Jesus with others both here and beyond.

"Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, and with all of your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all of the Law and the Prophets." Matt 22:37-40

Glorify: How God Uses Women to Make Himself Known is our fall Bible Study. You can join us for this study either on Tuesday mornings at 10am or Tuesday evenings at 7pm. The first introductory session will be on September 20. If you need childcare, please contact Elaine Meador at 804-263-6139.

Please join us on Sunday, October 2 for the next Mug, Muffins and Mentoring Informational Coffee! Come discover what this valuable ministry has to offer and decide whether this opportunity is right for you--as a mentee or a mentor! All ages and life stages are welcome.
Mentors: Step out in faith, invest your life in someone else. You can use your life experiences and walk with God to encourage another woman.
Mentees: As a mentee you can form a relationship that offers connection, encouragement and support in your Christian walk. Meet a new friend or invite someone to come with you who you would like to have as a mentor.
